Crown Nex trades commodities across three continents, draws crude from its own concessions in Dubai, and channels a fixed share of every profit into tourism ventures owned alongside its partners.
01 / What we run
Trading funds the treasury. Energy anchors it in something we own outright. Tourism is the mechanism that puts the return in front of people who can walk through the lobby and see it.
Commodities, moved with intent
We buy and move base metals, refined fuels and agricultural bulk between ports in the Gulf, South Asia and East Africa. Forty-one active offtake contracts, cleared through our own trade finance desk in Dubai.
Crude, from block to barrel
Two onshore concessions and a minority stake in an offshore block off Jebel Ali feed our own storage and blending terminal. What we don't refine ourselves, we sell forward to regional refiners under fixed contracts.
Where the profit lands
A fixed share of trading and energy profit is committed, before anything else, to boutique hotels and coastal developments co-owned with local partners. Guests never see the oil behind the room — but our partners do.
02 / How profit moves
Margin comes in from two directions at once: the spread on physical trading contracts, and revenue from crude sold out of our Dubai concessions. Both post to the same treasury account.
Before any dividend is calculated, 68% of net profit is set aside by charter — not by discretion — into the Hospitality Reserve. This is written into our shareholder agreement, not a marketing promise.
The reserve funds new rooms, renovations and land acquisition. Once a property turns a profit, that income is split between reinvestment and a direct payout to Crown Nex shareholders — on top of trading and energy dividends.
Figures are reviewed each fiscal year and published to shareholders alongside audited statements from our Dubai and London auditors.
03 / Crown Nex Energy
Crown Nex Energy holds two onshore concessions south of Dubai and a minority stake in an offshore block, feeding a company-owned blending and storage terminal at Jebel Ali. We're not a service contractor — we hold the license, the equipment, and the crude itself.
Roughly a third of output is refined for regional distribution under our own brand; the remainder is sold forward to refiners under fixed-price contracts that smooth our trading desk's exposure to spot volatility.
